This album is dedicated in memory of my mother, Mary Lou Carpenter. She loved whenever I played the flute for her, especially as her energy and mobility waned towards the end. At 91 years of age, I was blessed to have her encouragement, love and support for so many years.

Life comes from a continuous movement and flow. "Passages" is a an album built around this theme. Many of these songs are live recordings performed at various Sound Bath/Meditation venues.

My love for World Music and ambient soundscapes arrived later in life. Immersing myself in mindfulness, spirituality, sound therapy and drum circles
led to a sound workers playground. Singing bowls, gongs, hand drumming, chanting, didgeridoos and native american flutes have provided a new voice for my heart and soul.
